Diretora sérvia, radicada no Brasil desde 2008, onde atua junto da Sequência filmes, músicas e cênicas, conduzindo os projetos de SEQUÊNCIA CÊNICAS. Fundadora do primeiro laboratório de teatro da antiga Iugoslávia em 1991, transformado dois anos depois no DAH Teatro – Centro de Pesquisas Teatrais, com um programa de espetáculos, oficinas, palestras e festivais no Belgrado, Sérvia. Reconhecida pelo investigação de linguagens teatrais contemporâneas, conectadas com as questões do mundo atual. Graduada pela Academia Artes Dramáticas em Belgrado. Desenvolveu suas técnicas com o Odin Teatro, em seminários do Torgeir Wethal (1990 – 1994) e na ISTA-International School of Theatre Antropology de Eugenio Barba, em 1996 e 1998. ARTSLINK Fellowship em 1998, Nova York.

Em 2006 fez parte do ECUM  – Encontro Mundial de Artes Cenicas no Rio de Janeiro e Belo Horizonte.  Apresentou a peça “Espelho Móvel”, no Encontro Nacional de Teatro de Rua, Angra dos Reis em 2007. No Brasil ministrou oficinas (UNIRIO, Amok Teatro, Teatro Tablado, UF Uberlândia, Belo Horizonte, Barra Mansa/SESI/Sala Preta, Festival de Teatro Fortaleza).

No Brasil dirigiu: CIDADE IN/VISÍVEL, Rio de Janeiro, 2010 (Prêmio Myriam Muniz 2009); CATADORES DE SONHOS – Utopia com atores e alpinistas,  Rio de Janeiro, 2011 (Prêmio Myriam Muniz 2011 para circulação), MEMÓRIAS DO PEQUENO CIRCO, 2014. Conduziu o Projeto de Pesquisas Cênicas – IMERSÕES, com grupo Sala Preta da Barra Mansa 2013-2015. Conduziu com Eveline Costa o Projeto de Arte em Educação com alunos do Ensino Fundamental TERRITÓRIO CENA, 2018.

Diretora artística (com Paola Vellucci) em 2015 e Diretora e Curadora (com Paola Vellucci e Eveline Costa) em 2018 de MULTICIDADE – Festival Internacional de Mulheres nas Artes Cênicas, Rio de Janeiro.

Fundadora, com Eveline Costa do ESPAÇO SEQUÊNCIA no Rio de Janeiro, em 2017.

Viajou em turnês pela Europa, Brasil, Groenlândia, Marrocos, Mongólia e Inglaterra, Nova Zelândia, Singapura e EUA.  Ativa em vários redes teatrais (ANET, The Magdalena Project, Balkan Express, IETM, European OFF Theatre Network). Uma das fundadoras e Presidente do Conselho da Associação de Teatros Independentes de Belgrado (ANET) de 1999 até 2006.

Prêmios: Luigi Pirandello Internacional Prize 1997 que Eugênio Barba dividiu com o DAH, Otto Renne Castillo Award – New York 2007, Prêmio de ERSTE Fundation (Europa) pelo espetáculo In/Visible City, 2009.

Jadranka Andelic is a theater director from Serbia who lives and work in Brazil from 2008. Director of the theater projects by SEQUÊNCIA CÊNICAS and founder and director together with Eveline Costa of ESPAÇO SEQUENCIA, cultural space in Rio de Janeiro.

Founder (with Dijana Milosevic) of DAH Theater in 1991, Belgrade, the first theater laboratory in ex-Yugoslavia. In 1993 the company enlarged in DAH Theater Research Center with an ongoing program of performances, workshops, lectures, seminars and festivals. Graduated on the Academy of Drama Arts at University in Belgrade (Theater Directing)  and later continued her professional development in contemporary performing arts in seminars of Odin Theatre 1990-1994 led by Torgeir Wethal. She took a part in the International School of Theatre Anthropology 1996 and 1998, led by Eugenio Barba. ARTSLINK Fellowship in 1998, Nova York.

Besides directing various performances in DAH Theatre Research Centre, Jadranka has been the artistic or managing director of  various festivals / meetings: Arts Saves Life Festival (1993 and 1994), International Theatre Workshop Meeting (1996) and Endurance and Transformation (2001), Theatre as Way of Healing (2003), Forum of Independent Theatres (2003), Balkan Express Meeting (2005). 

Between 1997 – 2002 she collaborated with Teatret OM (Denmark) directed Qarrtsiluni, Sun and Moon,  Times of the Wind and Memento.  In 2000, directed the international production Landscape of Memories,  (commissioned by INFANT Festival, Novi Sad). After 2003 she created performances under name of Jadranka Andjelic Project – Seekers, The Shifting Mirror), initiated the Project in the public transport – In/Visible City, gives the workshops and lectures and direct activities in Dah Theatre Research Centre. In 2006 she was invited to present her work on ECUM – International Meeting of Theatre Artists in Brazil.

2008 she moved to Brazil. She joined Sequência Filmes, Músicas e Cênicas in Rio de Janeiro, direct Sequência Cênicas,  leads a workshops (Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Uberlândia, Barra Mansa, Fortaleza) and directed performances (Cidade In/Visível in 2010, Catadores de Sonhos – Utopia com atores e alpinistas in 2011, Memórias do Pequeno Circo in 2014). From 2013-2015 conducted the Theatre Research Project “IMERSÕES” (IMMERSIONS) with Sala Preta Group. Directed a Project of Art in Education TERRITÓRIO CENA with pupils in primary public school in Rio de Janeiro.

Artistic director of MAPA Serbia (Mobile Performing Arts Academy) 2007-2008. Artistic director of International theatre festival INFANT, Novi Sad, 2009 and 2010. Active in various networks (The Magdalena Project, Balkan Express, European OFF theatre network). She was one of the founders and Head of the Board of Association of Independent Theatres (ANET)1999-2005.

Artistic Director (with Paola Vellucci) of the INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL – MULTICIDADE in 2015 and in 2018 (with Paola Vellucci and Eveline Costa).

In 1997 Eugenio Barba, shared the “Luigi Pirandello Award” with Jadranka Andjelic, Dijana Milosevic and DAH Theatre, among few other companies in the world. She is recipient of Otto Rene Castillo Award for political theater in 2007, New York, USA and The ERSTE foundation Award for the performance In/Visible City 2009.

She toured extensively in Europe and Brazil, Greenland, Morocco, Mongolia, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA.
